The Greetings Reading Series at Unnameable Books brings together a community of poets, musicians, artists and listeners of many stripes. Folks gather in the backyard under an urban sky to take in the unknown everything and anything possible. Come for the easy talk of sparrows and stay for the poetry and music.

Held on the first Tuesday of the month, from September through June, the First Tuesday Reading Series features some of the finest writers from New York City and the surrounding areas. While committed to highlighting writers from Queers, featured readers have come from other boroughs, other states and other countries. The open mic is one of the most hospitable around. So if you have poetry you would like to share, or if you just want to have some poetry in your life, please join us.
